For the redevelopment of the iconic Battersea Power Station in London a sophisticated lighting scheme has been conceived by Speirs Major lighting designers. The outstanding architectural features are emphasised while minimising light spill to residents in this mixed-use development. Monospot floodlights with accessories for glare control are used for landscape lighting, on the façades and for the interior of the turbine hall, which is home to a large retail space. Commercial Lighting Systems Ltd, Meyer’s sole distributor in the UK, played a key role in supporting this project.
