The new central bus station and the forecourt of the train station form the entrance to the city centre of Hildesheim in northern Germany. The lighting design aims to enhance the appearance of the urban architecture by night. Ceiling-recessed downlighters from Meyer are mounted in a loose pattern into the canopy to provide high and uniform illumination levels around the bus stops.
